The Mining Industry

The Mining Industry

Any obstruction within a pipeline causes drag, affecting the flow of a pipeline ... this is a problem!

The mining industry has continuing problems with removing tailings from the mine base, or getting water to the site.  A lot of mine sites are remote, and water has to be pumped via a pipeline.  When a pipeline starts to slow, this could affect crucial operations!

When the internal bore is reduced in size, and heavy solids of slurry and slime start to adhere to the internal bore, this means the pipeline must be cleaned.  Restricted flow not only slows efficiency, it slows production and it slows pumps!  This will force operating pumps to the limits - compromising efficiency, increasing maintenance and costs.

Clearflow uses high-tech design cleaning pigs and precise methodology procedures to overcome these problems, and successfully restore complete flow rates to meet operating schedules.

Gas Pressure Delivery Pipelines and Station Pipelines

Dewatering - Cleaning - Drying - Dewpoint Readings

These are procedures that must meet crucial Scope of Works guidelines and schedules, prior to commissioning or refurbishing of these high-pressure Gas pipelines.

Clearflow meets these specialised challenges by using high-tech pigs specially designed and fabricated for this precise area of precise methodology of procedures (see link).

Using these specially designed high-tech pigs for the cleaning of all types of pipelines means we can incorporate pig runs up to 80km or more, which means less downtime, less preparation, less man hours - all beneficial within the Gas and Mining Industries.

Using precise calculations and professional expertise, Clearflow delivers this exacting procedure successfully, and without compromise.
